Step into a world where creativity meets strategy! FourSight is a psychometric assessment that provides insight into your cognitive preferences, helping you understand your thinking style and problem-solving approach. By understanding our approaches, we can approach innovation and creative problem solving more effectively, particularly in teams. In this workshop, start by learning all about your profile and then delving into what that means on a day-to-day basis. How can you best collaborate, communicate, and create with others? How can you leverage diverse thinking styles in your team?
- Workshop Length: 2 hours
- Participants: Open to all; 40 seats available per session on a first-come basis
- Location: PDI-122

Is what you see always what you get? In this workshop, the art of observation meets the science of interpretation. Visual Thinking Strategies (VTS) is often used in museum education and medical schools, and more recently has gained popularity in the business world. The way we take in the things we see has revolutionary potential for how we think, how we communicate, and how we collaborate. VTS can help get out of our customary patterns of thinking, some of which limit our ability to see different perspectives and new opportunities and build our tolerance for ambiguity! Engage with art, develop critical thinking, enhance communication skills, and learn how to apply these strategies at work and beyond!
- Workshop Length: 90 minutes
- Participants: Open to all; 24 seats available per session on a first-come basis
- Location: PDI-127A Computer Lab
- All participants must read the Visual Thinking Strategies article before attending the workshop.
