Tampa General Hospital
Headquartered in downtown Tampa, Tampa General Hospital is one of the most comprehensive medical facilities in West Central Florida and is the center of our academic health system. Our 1,040 bed private not-for-profit hospital and one of the most comprehensive medical facilities in West Central Florida. Home to the area’s only level 1 trauma center with five medical helicopters, we transport critically injured or ill patients from 23 surrounding counties. Our TGH Children’s Hospital provides a comprehensive range of medical, surgical and rehabilitative services for infants, children and adolescents. TGH is the primary teaching hospital for the USF Health Morsani College of Medicine. Tampa General Hospital has been recognized for its outstanding dedication to team members.
The Hospitals of TGH North
The Bravera Health Network, including Bravera Health Brooksville, Bravera Health Spring Hill and Bravera Health Seven Rivers, including physician clinics and outpatient services, are now part of Tampa General Hospital. TGH Brooksville, TGH Spring Hill and TGH Crystal River make up our TGH North division. We also have physician clinics and outpatient services in Citrus and Hernando counties. USF Tampa General Physicians
University of South Florida Tampa General Physicians (USFTGP) was created through an advanced affiliation between The University of South Florida and Tampa General Hospital to provide advanced care to patients and their families throughout Florida. Specialties include cardiology, endocrinology, hepatology, organ transplantation, pediatrics, primary care and surgery.

Tampa General Medical Group is the physician practice of Tampa General Hospital and includes physicians and advanced practice providers specializing in cardiology, endocrinology, hepatology, internal medicine, family practice, organ transplantation, pediatrics, and surgery. With many locations throughout the Tampa Bay area, our primary care offices offer the full spectrum of comprehensive medical care services for the entire family.
