Magnet® designation recognizes hospitals that demonstrate excellence in nursing philosophy and practices, adherence to national standards for improving patient care, leadership and sensitivity to cultural and ethnic diversity. More impressively, TGH is among just 2% of facilities in the country to have achieved Magnet® designation five times.

For this reason, TGH proudly offers an inclusive residency program and specialty-specific rotation or transition programs, and we are home to one of four civilian hospitals that train Air Force nurses who are then deployed around the world.

As a result, our programs help nurses become excellent providers of world-class care to TGH patients.
