I started my career in health care in the home care and medical equipment industry in 2008. Currently, I am a Registered Nurse, with a clinical background in Cardiovascular Telemetry, Orthopedics, and Step-Down/Progressive Care. I started my journey in nursing leadership in 2018 and the time since has been some of the most rewarding years of my career. I joined the Tampa General Hospital team in 2023 after moving back home to sunny Florida from South Carolina. I am proud to say that I was born and raised in the Tampa Bay area. (Go Lightning! Go Bucs! Go Rays! Go Rowdies! Go Sun!) In my time at Tampa General, I have had the honor of leading the amazing team in Clinical Resources at the Davis Islands location and now, InterHealth Medical Staffing Solutions for the system. I am extremely grateful to TGH for giving me the opportunity to come back home and continue to develop my nursing leadership skills within our world-class organization.
In my free time, I love spending time with my husband, our four children, our large extended family, and our friends. Our kids participate in a wide variety of extracurricular activities including lacrosse, soccer, basketball, swimming, jazz band, marching band, and most recently, ice hockey. My husband and I enjoy attending all the different concerts, competitions, tournaments, and games to cheer on our crew. We also enjoy taking in the professional sporting events that exist right here in Tampa Bay (Champa Bay!)
