A minority business enterprise must be certified through a reputable organization and be 51 percent owned and controlled by an ethnic minority or woman. TGH acknowledges the designations of African-American, Woman, Hispanic-American, Asian American, and Native American owned companies. Tampa General Hospital’s Minority Business Enterprise (MBE) Program is designed to seek out and identify certified minority-owned businesses that provide a service and/or commodity which is purchased by TGH and to assist minority business enterprises in securing business contracts with TGH.
