Dr. Judette Louis is the Chief of the Tampa General Hospital Women’s Institute. She also serves as the James M. Ingram Professor and Chair of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the USF Health Morsani College of Medicine. Dr. Louis earned her medical degree from Drexel University College of Medicine after receiving a Master of Public Health from John Hopkins University School of Hygiene and Public Health. She completed an obstetrics/gynecology residency at Metrohealth Medical Center (Case Western Reserve University) and a maternal-fetal medicine fellowship at Detroit Medical Center. Certified in maternal and fetal medicine, and obstetrics and genecology by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Dr. Louis conducts research focused on obstructive sleep apnea, maternal morbidity, maternal mortality and pregnancy as a window to cardiovascular birth. She has membership with the American Congress of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, American Academy of Sleep Medicine and the Society for Anesthesia and Sleep Medicine.
