At Tampa General, the Adult Reconstruction Orthopaedic Center provides comprehensive and innovative care for patients with complex knee, hip and shoulder conditions.
Our multidisciplinary team of physicians and board-certified and fellowship-trained surgeons perform a wide range of procedures, including total knee, hip and shoulder replacement, total hip and knee revisions, and reverse shoulder surgery.
Using advanced technology and specializing in minimally invasive treatment options, our program is individualized, focused on pain management and designed to fit each patient’s needs and goals. Our orthopaedic surgery unit is equipped with a fully functioning gym where highly trained physical and occupational therapists are dedicated to improving patients’ mobility, range of motion and quality of life.
TGH can accommodate patients who require hip surgery for an elective joint replacement procedure and those who have suffered an injury. We offer treatment in:
- Joint Center – This unit is dedicated to patients requiring joint replacement surgery and provides comprehensive post-surgical services, including physical and occupational therapy.
- Orthopaedic Trauma Care Center – This unit is where patients can receive surgical treatment for a wide variety of traumatic orthopaedic conditions, including hip and pelvic acetabulum injuries.
