Dr. Lucian Lozonschi is the Associate Director of the TGH Heart & Vascular Institute and the TGH Transplant Institute, and the Medical Director of the TGH Cardiothoracic Surgery Center of Excellence. He also is the Chief of the Division of Cardiothoracic Surgery at the USF Health Morsani College of Medicine. Dr. Lozonschi received his medical degree from Universitatea De MadicinasiFarmacieGrigore T Popa in Romania. He completed a surgery residency at Montefiore Medical Center and a fellowship in cardiothoracic surgery at Ohio State University. Dr. Lozonschi is board certified in thoracic and cardiac surgery.
