New state-of-the-art facility brings accessible, high-quality primary, imaging and urgent care services to the region.

Tampa, Fla. (Sept. 18, 2024) – To bring academic, world-class care to the Lutz area, Tampa General Hospital (TGH) continues to expand with a new, state-of-the-art outpatient medical center in the Sunlake community. The 14,625-square-foot outpatient center now provides a wide range of adult and pediatric services and is the first TGH outpatient center in the rapidly growing area just north of Tampa.

Services at the new center, located at 19027 Wingshooter Way in Lutz, include comprehensive imaging services by TGH Imaging, including mammography, X-ray, ultrasound, MRI, CT and DEXA scans. Primary care will be provided by Tampa General Medical Group (TGMG) powered by USF Tampa General Physicians (USFTGP) along with walk-in and urgent care from TGH Urgent Care powered by Fast Track. Additionally, a care navigator is available to patients to offer resources, guide them through health care diagnoses, connect them with community services and assist with any health care needs. This service sets this TGH outpatient center apart from other outpatient centers, highlighting Tampa General’s commitment to holistic patient support.

“Tampa General continues to innovate the delivery of health care by bringing high-quality services closer to home for those in our community who need it most,” said Adam Smith, executive vice president and chief ambulatory care officer at Tampa General Hospital. “The new TGH Outpatient Center also offers a valuable and cost-effective option for patients in need of immediate and reliable health care."
