Palm Beach County-Based Urology Group of Florida Joins Tampa General Hospital

Palm Beach Gardens, Fla. (June 4, 2024) – Urology Group of Florida, which has been delivering high-quality urologic care to Palm Beach County since 2011, has partnered with Tampa General Hospital (TGH) as part of the academic health system’s initiative to serve more patients across the state. The new affiliation will be known as TGH Urology Group of Florida.

 

TGH Urology Group of Florida is staffed by seven top Palm Beach County-based urologists: Lawrence M. Yore, MD; Edward M. Scheckowitz, MD; Emanuel E. Gottenger, MD; Murray G. Goldberg, MD; R. Neill Borland, MD; David Weinstein, MD; and David Meinbach, MD. The practice will continue serving patients from its locations in Delray Beach, Palm Beach Gardens and Lake Worth, and is now matched with the world-class resources and specialists at TGH, Florida’s leading academic health system for more than 50 years. TGH Urology Group of Florida will be an integral part of connecting more residents in Palm Beach and Martin counties to the complex urologic care they need.

TGH Urology Group of Florida patients needing a higher level of care will now have a direct connection to Tampa General’s academic health system, including research breakthroughs, a wider variety of clinical trials and options for advanced procedures, enhanced personal treatment plans, and a convenient path to complex surgeries. Patients who receive more complex procedures or treatment at Tampa General will be able to follow up with TGH Urology Group of Florida on the East Coast upon returning home.
