Tampa General Hospital Welcomes Four New Members to Hospital’s Board of Directors

The new members include active medical directors and professionals with long histories in various health focused fields.

TAMPA, FL (Nov. 10, 2020) – Tampa General Hospital, one of the largest academic medical centers in the country, announced the addition of four new members to its board of directors.

The following new board members were welcomed this month:

• Marylou Bailey is a retired business consultant and executive who worked to transform healthcare companies during her 27-year tenure with Accenture, a global professional services company, and who served as their Global Industry Managing Director, Health & Life Sciences.
• Jeff Bak is the president of ELAP Services, LLC, a full-service healthcare solution provider for self-funded employers. He brings more than 25 years of experience in the insurance, reinsurance, and healthcare services industries to the board.
• Dr. Krishna Nallamshetty is the Chief of Staff and co-medical director of the Imaging service line at Tampa General Hospital. He currently serves as the president of Radiology Associates of Florida, the largest diagnostic and interventional radiology practice in the state of Florida and among the largest in the nation. He is also an Associate Chief Medical Officer and Executive Vice President of Radiology Partners, the largest radiology practice in the U.S with over 2,500 physicians. Dr. Nallamshetty is an associate professor of radiology and cardiology at the USF Health Morsani College of Medicine and is the director of advanced cardiac imaging and its fellowship training program.  
• Dr. Bruce Zwiebel is an interventional radiologist and co-medical director of the Imaging service line at Tampa General Hospital. An American College of Radiology Fellow and Society of Interventional Radiology Fellow, he serves as a professor in the USF Department of Radiology, vice chair of Clinical Affairs in the USF Department of Radiology, and Director of Interventional Radiology at TGH. Dr. Zwiebel is the President of Tower Radiology Centers and a member of Radiology Associates of Florida.

Bailey, Bak, Nallamshetty and Zwiebel join 12 other members of the TGH board of directors, all of whom bring experience from a variety of industries and backgrounds.
