Published: Dec 9, 2021
Tampa, FL (Dec. 9, 2021) – Tampa General Hospital is teaming up with jewelry designer Kendra Scott to raise funds for the TGH Children’s Hospital. From Dec. 1 through Dec. 14, 20% of any purchase will be donated back to the TGH Children’s Hospital renovation when Tampa General Hospital is mentioned during the purchase.
As a part of this generous partnership, TGH Children's Hospital's very own patient, Abby, spent the day in the Kendra Scott Hyde Park Village store to design her own bracelet, called “The Abby.” Featuring dichroic glass, this bracelet shines just like Abby! Abby spent just under a week at TGH Children’s Hospital after experiencing an accident. “I am so grateful for the care I received at Tampa General, I want to make it even better for future kids like me,” said Abby.
The jewelry is available for purchase at the Kendra Scott stores in Tampa’s Hyde Park Village and the Mall at University Town Center in Sarasota. You can join Tampa General at both locations for a “Kendra Gives Back” Party this Saturday, Dec. 11 from noon – 2 p.m. Shoppers will enjoy sips, sweets, and one-of-a-kind jewels. For online purchases of all Kendra Scott jewelry items, shoppers can use code GIVEBACK-BBSGG to support an extensive renovation of TGH Children’s Hospital.
The “Abby” bracelet sells for $60. Additional accompaniments feature TGH Children’s Hospital signature blue and include the TGH Studs (earrings) for $50, and the TGH Pendant, also for $50.
Tampa General Hospital has renamed its pediatric inpatient services to TGH Children’s Hospital. Reinforcing its commitment to pediatric care, Tampa General has embarked on a comprehensive design process to provide a healing environment that aligns with the top clinical excellence of the region’s only Level I Pediatric Trauma Center. Beginning with the first phase, a $7.5 million remodel of two of the three wings of the TGH Children’s Hospital, the goal is to provide a light, bright, comforting space reflecting medical advances and best practices.
