At Tampa General’s Interventional Cardiology Center of Excellence, we offer patients the most advanced treatment options for coronary disease, valve diseases (Aortic, Mitral, Pulmonic and Tricuspid), and adult congenital disease. Our specialized team provides complex interventions including chronic total occlusions (CTOs), Left Atrium Appendage Occlusion (Watchman) and more. As the only academic center in the region, we often have early access to cutting-edge research into new therapies that allow us to continually improve our patient outcomes.

The Interventional Heart Failure Program provides a robust array of treatments complementing our already strong commitment to advanced heart failure. This multidisciplinary program includes a dedicated nurse navigator, a heart failure advanced practice provider in addition to structural interventionalists and advanced heart failure physicians. It is a hub for the coordinated and seamless treatment of heart failure patients using implantable monitoring devices and interventional protocols.
