At Tampa General, our Center for Gynecologic Cancer is one of the most comprehensive cancer care programs in Florida and has some of the best outcomes in the nation. We offer diagnosis, staging and treatment services for cancer of the ovaries, uterus, vagina, vulva, fallopian tubes and cervix in addition to other conditions that affect the female reproductive system.

Treatment plans take a holistic approach to treat patients’ mind, body and emotions as well as provide post-operative life care. As part of this approach, we provide palliative medicine to our patients and our gynecology oncology program is the only one in Florida to offer this service. It allows us to help patients manage their symptoms of pain, nausea, depression and anxiety, and gives them the tools to enjoy an excellent quality of life.

At Tampa General, our Center for Lung Cancer is a nationally recognized program that specializes in the surgical treatment of pulmonary and lung diseases. We frequently diagnose and treat high volumes of the most complex and advanced cases of lung cancer, providing optimal results for our patients in the direst of circumstances.
