Transfer a Patient

Our transfer center team is ready to help you access our inpatient services.  The TGH Transfer Center is staffed 24 hours a day. To transfer a patient from another facility, call 1-800-247-4472. The sending facility will be asked to provide the following information: patient name, address, social security number, home phone, date of birth, diagnosis, name of referring facility, name of physician and reason for transfer.

Tampa General Hospital's Office of Clinical Research coordinates hundreds of ongoing clinical trials, including multi-center national studies. Our physicians and researchers evaluate the effectiveness and safety of new therapies and diagnostic procedures to improve patient outcomes.
