I graduated from St. Vincent’s Hospital and School of Nursing in 1988 and have been a nurse for more than 30 years. I began my career in New York City, but relocated to sunny Florida in 1992. I was offered an opportunity to continue my nursing career here at Tampa General Hospital in the Medical ICU, where I worked as a clinical nurse and their unit- based educator. During this time, I completed my bachelor’s degree in nursing and master’s in nursing education. I work with an amazing Talent Acquisition team here at Tampa General Hospital, where I enjoy guiding today’s nurses on their journey here.
On my off time, my husband and I are busy exploring what Florida has to offer, chasing after an adventurous 8-year-old, gardening and soaking up all the great weather Florida has to offer. And I’m currently adding chicken coops to the mix.
