Tampa General Hospital Named Best Hospital 2020 by Creative Loafing

Tampa General Hospital has been named Best Hospital in Creative Loafing’s 30^th annual Best of the Bay issue in the Readers’ Pick category.  The recognition is an honor any year, but it is made even more impactful that readers chose TGH as the best hospital in Tampa Bay during this unprecedented time in history.

President and CEO of Tampa General, John Couris, expressed his appreciation for the award by saying, “It’s gratifying to hear from the residents of Tampa Bay just how much they appreciate our hard work. They recognize that when you walk into Tampa General, you will receive world-class care.”

For 30 years, Creative Loafing’s Best of the Bay has tried to capture the energy put forth by the community and celebrate it in newsprint. Creative Loafing is Tampa Bay’s free alternative news weekly, distributed each Thursday.
