The Orthopaedic Institute offers the latest, minimally invasive options for joint replacement procedures, including knee, hip, shoulder and ankle replacements. We also have extensive experience in orthopaedic revision surgery to address failed joint replacement surgeries. Many of our joint procedures, such as arthroscopy, can be performed on an outpatient basis, reducing pain and recovery time for patients. In addition, TGH performs more than 5,000 orthopaedic surgical procedures annually—which is more than any other facility within West Central Florida.

As the region’s only Level I Trauma Center, TGH provides emergency orthopaedic care and reconstructive surgery to anyone with traumatic injuries. Our nationally renowned surgeons have experience treating the most complex orthopaedic conditions with superior outcomes, making us a preferred referral center for physicians throughout the region and one of the best and most comprehensive orthopaedic surgery programs in Florida.
